Breastfeeding puppies
Today I was looking at our puppies breastfeeding with their mum. We let our pups wean natuarally and some of them keep feeding for many weeks while others lose interest and wean themselves at about 4-5 weeks. It's amazing how different the puppies are especially the different breeds.
It's a lovely experience to watch the feeding, and particuarly great to show this to children who visit.
We are so priviledged to be dog breeders!
